I don't *entirely* agree - I still remember the liberation when I went from a point-and-shoot to my first D70, and I know the D80 makes some things easier still, but he makes similar points himself, and yeah, for the most part, whenever I miss the shot I want, I know it's me, not my kit. Mind you, I'd still love that 2 grand VR telephoto, if any's feeling generous...
